A rare Chanel piece from the early 2000s, with a distinctly runway-aligned sensibility — echoing the more experimental direction of the house under Karl Lagerfeld.

A layered double-brim construction creates a halo-like form — almost like Saturnus in its presence.

The transparent layer floats above the darker wool base, catching and bending light while leaving the structure beneath visible. A subtle tension between concealment and exposure, solidity and illusion.

The effect is sculptural, almost atmospheric — less an accessory, more an object defined by space and silhouette.
