DA ROLD LE CUIR PERDU Handmade Tribal Appliqué Leather Jacket
A striking handmade leather jacket by Da Rold Le Cuir Perdu, defined by bold white leather appliqué forming sweeping tribal motifs across the body. The high-contrast pattern cuts sharply through the black leather, creating a graphic and sculptural presence that feels both raw and ornamental.
Crafted entirely by hand, the jacket embraces irregularity as part of its character. Tonal shifts in the leather, hand-drawn elements and distressed surfaces are intentionally incorporated into the design — part of the brand’s experimental approach to dyeing and treating leather. A subtle tribal motif is also dyed directly into one sleeve, adding another layer of depth and texture.
Long leather fringe detailing at the front introduces movement and a slightly rebellious edge, while the fitted silhouette and high collar keep the piece structured and sharp.
As with many pieces from the atelier, each jacket is produced as an individual creation — making this piece effectively one-of-a-kind (1/1).

About Da Rold Le Cuir Perdu
About Da Rold Le Cuir Perdu
Da Rold Le Cuir Perdu was founded in Bologna in 2010 by artist Luisella Da Rold. Working from her artisan atelier in a historic house in the city, Da Rold approaches leather as both material and canvas, experimenting with dyeing techniques and surface treatments.
The brand combines a vintage-inspired aesthetic with luxurious materials, decorative elements and traditional craftsmanship. Each piece is entirely made in Italy and produced in small artisanal runs, resulting in garments that feel closer to individual creations than conventional fashion pieces.
