From the iconic Fall/Winter 2010 collection — a piece considered one of DSQUARED2’s most striking creations. Featuring the sculptural spine-shaped heel paired with a dramatic over-knee silhouette, this is an archive piece that is exceptionally hard to find today, especially in the over-knee cut.
The shoe and heel are in excellent original condition, and the outsole is also original (not rubber-resoled) and shows noticeable wear — a future sole reinforcement would extend their lifespan beautifully. As is common with faux-leather from this era, the outer layer on the shafts had begun to flake after fifteen years, and therefore we removed the faux-leather entirely, revealing the underlying stretch structure. The result is a clean, matte finish that remains fully wearable. The pricing reflects the boots’ restored shafts — a small trace of time in an otherwise iconic piece that is usually valued far higher, in the €1,000–2,500 range.
A rare and powerful piece that stands somewhere between footwear and artifact.
